About the project
The client is a successful clothing retailer. Established several years ago, they evolved into a one-stop-shop for buying unique wearables, gaining popularity among young fashionistas from all over the country. With the rapid growth of their customer base, the client had to figure out a way to keep up with the demand. Building a reliable mobile app became a necessity.
The challenge
The client’s request was to develop a robust native mobile application that will be consistent with their brand identity while delivering a seamless shopping experience. The retailer needed not just another catalog-looking online shopping app but a point of contact between them and their customers. The app had to be a gateway to communicate with their audience, analyze their behavior, and maximize conversions. Besides, the client wanted the app to be scalable since their user base grew in leaps and bounds.
The solution
We developed a native mobile app that incorporated all the features necessary for online shopping:
- Push-notifications and local reminders
- User profile (address, credit card information, recent orders, reviews, and access to the shopping cart)
- In-store search that allows filtering products by place (all/new/popular/) and kind
- Detailed product descriptions, accompanied by quality photos and demo videos. Users can bookmark products or add them to the shopping cart
- Customer reviews. Before making a purchase, users can view product reviews from real customers and like or dislike the products
- Shopping cart. Users can view, add, and delete the contents of the cart. It is also possible to see the delivery details, the total amount, and information on promo-codes and special offers
- Seamless checkout. Upon checkout, a user chooses the payment method, the delivery method, packaging options, and confirms the order
The result
The result was a reliable, highly scalable online shopping application for seamless customer experience.
